Building on the entrepreneurial tradition of Rotterdam and the Netherlands, RSM provides management research, education and societal engagement so people and organisations can thrive worldwide. In keeping with our commitment to the UN\u2019s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we help students, academics and people in business become critical, creative, caring and collaborative thinkers and doers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RSM\u2019s Business &amp; Society Management department is involved in SLIDE, which among others focuses mainly on the interaction between business and society but also on civil society &amp; volunteering. The department has now for over 15 years hosted the \u201clearning by doing\u201d minor, in which service learning plays a central role, by students working directly with (community) organizations on the management issues they face.
