More and more services are provided online. We get many questions about the use of e.g. banking apps. It would be great if we could develop an environment (online website or application) where banking and other apps can be used privately, in a demo version. In the Netherlands, there is an example (Digihandig) but it’s only showing screenshots.

It should be great to generate a demo version of (administrative) apps that people are “forced” to use, without privacy issues that arise when practising. At the moment, if someone has a question about their banking app, the person has to log in and then also enter his/her PIN etc. There’s a risk to abuse their trust. In short: we would love to have an effective exercise app, a secure, accessible, and realistic simulation of commonly used administrative apps. It should prioritize user privacy, avoid real data, and be available across multiple platforms to ensure that anyone who needs it can easily access and benefit from the learning experience.

Help us answering the following questions:

  • What should an exercise app or demo version look like?
  • What conditions should such an app definitely meet?
