Agenzia Scalabriniana per la Cooperazione (ASCS)
Since 2004, ASCS has been actively engaged in supporting migrants, refugees, and local communities across Europe and Africa. Our efforts are concentrated in welcoming migrants, awareness raising on human mobility, and development cooperation. Through various projects and activities, we strive to foster inclusion, promote understanding, and contribute to sustainable development.
Our vision is to create an open, welcoming and inclusive society in which people on the move are seen as an added value. In Rome, we have a project which is Casa Scalabrini 634, a house for migrants and refugees. The house accommodates 30 migrants and refugees who live there for six months and are supported in their path to autonomy. Additionally, the house offers services to the community, such as a social help desk and psychological support for women with psychologists available in their native languages.
