Bernd Josef Leisen is a research associate at the University of Vechta in the Department of Management of Social Services. In his research, he uses methods of experimental behavioral economics to find solutions for current issues in social services. Topics include the reduction of risky alcohol consumption in peer groups, the reduction of discrimination against male childcare professionals, the integration of refugees in the housing market as well as measures to promote intergenerational cooperation and testing digital volunteering.
