Ioana Zagrean is a postdoctoral fellow and staff member at the Postgraduate School “Educare all’incontro e alla Solidarietà” (EIS-LUMSA) in Rome, Italy. She recently earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the Department of Human Sciences at Libera Università Maria SS. Assunta (LUMSA), focusing on “Individual and Organisational Development and Wellbeing” as part of the XXXV Cycle. In addition to her research role, she serves as a contract lecturer in Social Psychology at LUMSA University.  Zagrean has actively participated in various Erasmus+ projects, contributing as both a researcher and trainer, notably in the DigiSEL initiative under the guidance of Professor Maria Cinque. Since 2022, she has been a member of several professional organizations, including the Italian Professional Association of Psychologists, the Italian Psychology Association (AIP), and the American Psychological Association (APA). Her research interests are primarily centered on value development, ethnic prejudice, recently service learning, particularly regarding the intergenerational transmission of prejudice toward immigrants during adolescence. She is an author and co-author of numerous publications in both national and international journals, reflecting her expertise in bias and prejudice research.
