Irene Culcasi

Irene Culcasi is a researcher and contract lecturer in Service-Learning at the LUMSA University of Rome, Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary Humanism (Education curriculum) from LUMSA University with a double degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She is coordinator of the research and projects area of the EIS-LUMSA Postgraduate School “Educare all’Incontro e alla Solidarietà”. She is currently secretary of the European Association of Service-Learning in Higher Education (EASLHE), member of the European Observatory of Service-Learning in Higher Education (EOSLHE) and member of Service-Learning in European schools and organizations Network (SLESON). She is also part of the Italian SL network (UNiSL) and co-founder and vice-president of Comparte, a non-profit organization working in educational innovation and sustainability.
