Nives Mikelic Preradovic
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, Croatia
She is a full professor with tenure at the Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb and the Head of the Chair for Knowledge Organization. She was the first to introduce SL in Croatia in 2006. In 2017 she received National award Ivan Filipovic for Service Learning in Higher Education.
She is the author of the first university textbook on SL in Croatia, based on which the method was brought among the priorities of the Operational Program “Effective Human Resources 2014-2020”. She held many workshops and invited lectures on SL and published papers on SL in internationally recognized journals and conference proceedings.
She is the member of the Board of Directors of the EASLHE.
