Generationen Digital Verbinden e. V.
The non-profit organization Generationen Digital Verbinden e. V. supports nationwide projects that promote social interaction with older people in care facilities for the elderly or those at risk of loneliness. Activities include intergenerational Zoom quizzes, support for digital problems by phone, projects with pupils and older adults, workshops on digital media, virtual events in over 50 elderly care facilities (www.viveras.de) and the digital upgrading of elderly care facilities. The association also runs a charity marquee where young and older people work together as team (https://alkoholfreies-zelt.de/). In the future, the association would like to enable people with limited mobility and those living in care facilities for the elderly to participate in public events digitally.
